Description: An incredibly well flowered plant, two older and six active leafless pseudobulbs carrying 120 pristine, larger than usual flowers on 10 arching, supported 34-cm inflorescences 270 degrees around the pot; plant 72.4 cm high, 84.2 cm across, grown in a 25-cm black plastic pot cultivated in New Zealand sphagnum moss; sepals and petals very flat, saturated orange tan, green basally; lip boldly protruding, intense rich red; column golden yellow; substance very firm; texture waxy; also awarded a FCC of 93 points, award 20245394. |
